Solid cast brass with all brass working parts; the handle and lock are mounted on the interior side of the door. The lock has a small latch to lock the doorknobs. The doorknob and small plate trim the outside of the door. This set will fit a door thickness from 3/4 to 1 1/4 inches. The undersized doorknob is 1 1/2 inches in diameter; the width of the latch is 1 3/4 inches, it requires a style of 1 3/4 inches or larger.
